Cryo body snatchers
MOSCOW: The remains of people who paid to be cryogenically frozen in the hope they can one day be revived have been snatched from a plant near Moscow, its owner claimed.
Danila Medvedev, 41, said his ex-wife Valeria Udalova seized the bodies during a raid on his KrioRus facility, which she co-founded with him.
Mr Medvedev said she was helped by staff from her rival cryonics company. He accused her of putting the bodies at risk. “It seems she doesn’t care what happens to their chances of being revived,” he said.
Ms Udalova said she owned the bodies and accused her former husband of lying to police.
