GREAT CHANGE

I HAVE been a digital subscriber to the Chronicle since 2016 because work has me away from Dalby in places where the Chronicle isn’t available in the paper format.

I cannot wait until retirement so I can walk down to the newsagency in Dalby and pick up a proper paper, as I do when I am home.

But I must admit that an important part of the paper to me, Letters to the Editor, has been becoming tiresome.

The usual suspects are thankfully being replaced with writers like Kathy Adams who has a wicked sense of humour it seems, and a way of crafting letters that are a delight to read, whether I agree with them or not.

Thanks Kathy and thanks Ed for bringing this critical part of public discourse back to life.
