SPORT doesn’t work without volunteers, and coaches are among the most valuable.
Charged with everything from steering young players through their first games to leading teams to premiership glory they are key figures in every club.
This year many coaches have also had to deal with the added difficulty of Covid-related restrictions at every level of sport.
Earlier this week, The Chronicle put the call out to our readers, asking them to nominate their favourite sports coaches, and the response was massive.
Coaches across all four football codes – league, union, soccer and Aussie rules – as well as mentors from netball and tennis to name a few.
Now it’s up to you decide who our number one coach is.
