SNORKEL THE WRECKS OFF MORETON ISLAND FOR JUST $1

-

HOT deals on snorkelling adventures, catamaran tours, museum tickets and visits to an underwater world will be on offer this week as Queenslanders begin the September school holidays.

Tourism and Events Queensland and News Corp’s Queensland mastheads are promoting incredible operator deals to support the state’s tourism industry.

The 20 Days of Holidays Like This campaign proved hugely popular when it launched, with theme park passes, Cairns gondola experiences and Outback dinosaur museum tickets snapped up in minutes.

To kick off the fourth and final week of the campaign, 100 snorkel the wrecks day cruise tickets at Tangalooma Island Resort are up for grabs for just $1 each.

Marketing director Bernie O’Keefe said sometimes it took a pandemic for locals to realise they don’t need to go overseas, or even leave the city, to experience a stunning beach escape that could match any of the best beach destinations on earth.

“Tangalooma Island Resort’s white sands and crystal clear waters provide the perfect stage for an incredible range of activities that showcase the beauty and adventurous spirit of Queensland’s great sand islands,” he said.

“With palm trees galore and a relaxed island vibe, visitors would be forgiven for thinking the island is a long plane ride away. The local secret is this paradise is right in Brisbane’s backyard, only 75 minutes by boat.

“Undoubtedly, one of the highlights of any trip to Tangalooma is taking a guided snorkel tour through the world-famous Tangalooma Wrecks – 15 strategically-sunken shipwrecks at the northern end of the resort’s golden beach which now provide a safe haven for an abundance of marine life.”

The deal will be available from 9am on Monday until sold out.
