The remoteness of many regions leads to problems in the geocoding of vaccination data, with the result that there is not specific information for more than a third of the state’s LGAs. Along with Queensland, WA is likely to be one of the last states to reach 80 per cent vaccination – but the government has also suggested it wants EVEN higher targets reached before it opens up its border.
