Cameras capture CBD deal
A YOUNG Wilsonton man is facing up to 25 years in jail after he was caught selling meth on Margaret Street.
Shortly after midnight on Sunday, police were notified by the operators of City-Safe cameras of an alleged drug transaction in the CBD.
Police identified the people involved and arrested a 22year-old Wilsonton man near the Cube Hotel.
They will allege the man was selling 3,4 methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) and that he was in possession of the drugs at the time of his arrest.
Police charged the man with two counts of trafficking in dangerous drugs and three lesser drug offences.
He was granted bail to appear at the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on November 19, this year.
