Pub goes on the market

- SAM TURNER

THE dream of owning an outback Australia pub can become a reality for the next lucky punter with the Yuleba Hotel Motel hitting the market.

Situated along the Warrego Highway between Miles and Roma, the owners of Yuleba’s only pub have decided to sell after seven years in the business.

Publican Sally Swan said she enjoyed every minute of her time in the southwest Queensland community after moving from Wallumbilla, but said it was time to start a new chapter.

“I have enjoyed meeting new people and the tourists that pull in, as well as getting to know the workers who have stayed in the hotel over the years, and have become a part of the family,” Mrs Swan said.

Ray White Rural real estate agent Rob Wildermuth said the business offered multiple income streams through their alcohol and food sales, dine-in and takeaway options, as well as their 25-room motel.

There is also powered and unpowered caravan sites.
