Brawl after race day

TWO men were heavily fined for their involvement in a street fight that broke out on a quiet residential street following a busy race day in Dalby.

Dalby police were called to a disturbance between two men along Moreton St about 10.20pm Saturday evening.

Police say a 21-year-old St George man and a 20-year-old Tinana man were “fighting in the street”, and showed “violent” behaviour.

Both men were given $413 fines for public nuisance and violence, with no further criminal charges laid.
