DON’T MISS COBB AND CO FAMILY PASSES FOR $1

-

HERITAGE trades such as blacksmithing, coopering, furniture making, bridle making, leather plaiting and leadlighting are being revived thanks to training and workshops at a regional museum.

The Cobb and Co Museum at Toowoomba also offers the only wheelwrighting workshop in the southern hemisphere.

Queensland Museum Network chief executive Dr Jim Thompson said the museum was opened in December 1987 to originally house the National Carriage Collection.

Queenslanders can snap up incredible dollar deals as part of a new campaign by Tourism and Events Queensland, in partnership with News Corp’s Queensland mastheads.

The “20 Days of Holidays Like This” campaign will showcase hot daily deals until Thursday and an incredible getaway competition on the weekend.

This deal doesn’t apply to residents in the Toowoomba region, who can enter for free.

A LIMITED NUMBER OF 100 COBB AND CO MUSEUM FAMILY ANNUAL PASSES FOR TWO ADULTS AND TWO CHILDREN FOR $1 EACH WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ON QUEENSLAND.COM/ HOLIDAYSLIKETHIS FROM 9AM ON WEDNESDAY.
