Brothers busted in sting

A DALBY man who was found with a large amount of meth with his brother during a targeted police sting has narrowly avoided serving jail time.

Dalby Magistrate­s Court heard Glenn Raymond Farnham left a known drug house on June 28, before police intercepte­d him and discovered 1.81g of meth.

Police prosecutor Derek Brady said the 51-year-old had been in the car with his brother, who was charged over the same incident.

Sergeant Brady said digital scales, clip seal bags and scoops were also uncovered during the search.

Farnham pleaded guilty to possessing meth, pipes, scales, clipseal bags, and scoops, and was sentenced to three months’ jail, suspended for 12 months.
