WIN LUXURY $20,000 REEF AND RAINFOREST GETAWAY
A $20,000 luxury reef and rainforest holiday is up for grabs as Queenslanders continue to snap up hot tourism deals.
The final prize in Tourism and Events Queensland’s 20 Days of Holidays Like This campaign, run in partnership with News Corp’s Queensland mastheads, is a week-long escape for two adults to Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef.
Over the past month, holiday offers for as little as $1 and incredible holiday competitions have celebrated Queensland tourism industry and generated 100,000 leads to operators.
TEQ chief executive Leanne Coddington said the campaign had proven a success for tourism businesses across the state.
“Our aim with this campaign was to remind Queenslanders about the amazing variety of tourism experiences on offer in our state and to further support industry,” Ms Coddington said.
“These staggering deals that have been offered over the past four weeks, plus the hundreds more on offer at Queensland.com, have garnered incredible interest, and we’ve generated nearly 100,000 leads to tourism businesses as a direct result.
“Every deal we have offered has sold out, some in under a minute, and as a result Queenslanders are engaging with regions they may have never visited or experiences they didn’t even know existed as they plan their next holiday.
“At TEQ, we’ll work hard to continue to build on that momentum and give people compelling reasons to get out and enjoy the state we call home.
“The campaign may be coming to an end, but with school holidays in full swing and summer just around the corner, I encourage all Queenslanders to start thinking about their next break and head to Queensland.com to secure a great deal.”
The Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef holiday prize package is open for entries from 9am on Friday.
The winner and guest will stay at a number of hotels, including Crystalbrook Flynn, Silky Oaks Lodge and the Shangri-La Executive Retreats, plus two nights on Lizard Island with return air transfers.
Experiences will be with Passions of Paradise, Sailaway Port Douglas, Walkabout Cultural Adventures and Nautilus Aviation, and dining at Nu Nu Restaurant.
The seven-night adventure includes a $2000 Flight Centre voucher.
