October lunch in memory of Gerry

IN HONOUR of Geraldine Doumany, TSBE is hosting a local produce long lunch at Bunnyconnellen on Friday, October 1.

Geraldine Doumany, or Gerry as she was known, was one of the great Darling Downs export superstars and spent her career assisting businesses experience international trade success, and she was one of the region’s strongest advocates for creating a thriving export community.

She was also extremely passionate about local produce and proud to help promote these producers to the world.

TSBE invites the community to celebrate Gerry’s life with local fresh produce served by Emeraude, and fine wine among the groves of tranquil Bunnyconnellen.

The three course menu will be designed by celebrated chef Amanda Hinds and feature a banquet of local produce, wine, beer and Pechey gin.

There will be live music from soloist James Ryle, fundraising activities and some amazing prizes to be won.

All funds raised from the event will be donated to the Toowoomba Hospice which was where Gerry passed away surrounded by her loving family.
