The James Cummings-trained Anamoe resumed from a spell and gave his opposition weight and a beating when taking out the Run To The Rose. Now he gets the advantage of meeting the majority of those he defeated at Kembla Grange better at the weights. Already a proven Group 1 performer, having taken out the ATC Sires’ Produce in the autumn after an eye-catching second in the Golden Slipper, Anamoe is clearly the one to beat. And with James McDonald in sparkling form, it should be a matter of how far for the star colt.
