Upgrades at centre

CONSTRUCTION of a new kiosk and change rooms at Oakey Aquatic Centre is on track to start in the coming weeks marking an important milestone for the project.

Construction of the new change rooms and associated works are expected to be completed by early 2022.

Tender for construction of the new facilities was awarded to Toowoomba based business, Newlands Group.

The upgrades will include family change rooms and improved access and facilities for people with disabilities.
