GemLife goes full throttle for top travel experience

-

IN A first for over-50s lifestyle resorts, GemLife has launched an exciting and innovative new travel initiative, Explore by GemLife, recently revealing its first fleet of strikingly designed upgraded motorhomes which will be available exclusively for resident hire.

GemLife Director & CEO Adrian Puljich said the new initiative recognised the importance of travel for the over-50s market, bringing a groundbreaking new offering to its growing number of lifestyle resorts including GemLife Highfields.

“Travel is a huge passion for so many of our residents, it’s a big part of their lives. At GemLife we are always striving to innovate and bring something fresh to our offering, and that was the spark for Explore by GemLife,” said Mr Puljich.

A fleet of four Explore by GemLife motorhomes was unveiled for the first time to GemLife Highfields residents recently, each featuring stunning original artwork of iconic Australian landscapes commissioned especially for the project.

“The Explore motorhomes will be big attention-getters on the road – the artwork is superb and captures the diversity and beauty of Australia’s natural environment,” said Mr Puljich.

The luxurious Jayco Conquest DX motorhomes feature spacious living layouts with electric slide-outs for extra room, comfortable doublebeds, full ensuite bathrooms with separate shower, a wellequipped kitchen with gas cooktop, grill, oven, and microwave, plus a washing machine, and plenty of storage.

For extra comfort and luxury while travelling, GemLife has included a suite of upgrades to the motorhomes such as premium leather seats, a water filter, barbecue, and for free-camping situations, fans, solar panels, a diesel heater, and extra batteries.

“Each GemLife resort will have its own Explore motorhome, which means residents can book a trip in a brand-new vehicle at any time for rates well below typical market prices, all without the burden of ownership,” Mr Puljich said.

GemLife Highfields resident and keen traveller Denise Paterson said the Explore initiative had strong appeal.

“Who wouldn’t like luxury like that on your travels? You’d have to be mad if you didn’t.”

Fellow resident Henry Ryman said the convenience and cost savings would be attractive to many.

“If you’ve got a caravan that you’re not using much, and you are paying insurance, registration, and storage, then hiring the GemLife motorhome for $150 a day is excellent value. There is nothing more for you to do than pack it up, clean it and give it back at the end of the trip. That’s what you call a good investment,” said Mr Ryman.

Mr Puljich added that current and future residents had the option to sell their existing motorhomes knowing they could still travel whenever they want by hiring an Explore vehicle.”
