WEALTH OF SUPERCARS FOR RALLY

- PATRICK JAMES

MILLIONS of dollars worth of supercars will join classics and purpose-built racers for the world’s largest tarmac rally event in Adelaide in November.

The Adelaide Rally’s supercar contingent will be boosted by 50 cars from dealer Zagame Adelaide when it is run from November 25 to 28.

Lamborghini, Lotus, Bentley, McLaren and Ferrari are just some of the brands expected to join the

tour, according to Zagame Adelaide manager Scott Greer.

“The whole event is absolutely incredible,” Mr Greer said.

“I’ve been involved with them (Adelaide Rally) for a few years, but from a South Australian perspective, we get a lot of people from interstate and you just can’t do this in any other state, we’re 10 minutes from the city and you’re on some of the best driving roads in the world.”

Mad McLaren fan Lori K, 54, will be joining the Zagame team in her black-and-orange 570S, worth approximately $350,000.

“I’ve always liked them, not from any particular history or background, I just really love cars,” Lori said.
