ALLYSON Gardener’s beautiful photo of a cow and two calves is just one of dozens of entries into The Chronicle’s cover photo competition.
The contest allows local photographers, or those just savvy with an iPhone camera, to showcase their skills to the Toowoomba community.
Every week, The Chronicle puts a call-out on Facebook for the best photos taken in and around the region.
From family photos to cute pet shots, to stunning landscape images, dozens of photos are submitted.
The most suitable photo with the most likes wins and is placed as the cover photo for one week.

The call-out for nominations is posted at 8pm every Monday night. Winners are chosen on Tuesday afternoon.
