OKTOBERFEST EVENT WILL BE LAGER THAN LIFE

- RHYLEA MILLAR

IT’S time to pop on your lederhosen and dirndl because a stein-raising event is coming to town.

The teams behind Toowoomba’s 4 Brothers Brewing and Konig’s Biergarten have joined forces to deliver the ultimate Oktoberfest event.

Transforming their artisan brewhouse into a German beer hall for the day, 4 Brothers co-owners Adrian Cubit and Josie Adams will be serving beers and tasting platters with the likes of pretzels, sauerkraut and sausage varieties.

Patrons are encouraged to dress up with a best costume prize up for grabs and venture between the two venues in the ultimate pub-crawl style event.

Oktoberfest will be at 4 Brothers Brewing at 183 Margaret St and König’s Biergarten at 476 Ruthven St on Saturday, October 23.

Two sessions are available and run from 11am to 4pm and 5pm to 10pm.

Limited tickets cost $35 which includes a 1L stein filled with your first beer. Brotherhood members will receive a 10% discount. Visit 4brothersbrewing.com.au.
