Abortions back on?
HOUSTON: Clinics across Texas face a tough decision over whether to resume abortions after a judge suspended a new law that had in effect banned the procedure.
The judge sided with the Biden administration’s efforts to block the Texas law, known as Senate Bill 8, or SB 8.
The law was approved last month and upheld by the conservative majority on the US Supreme Court by a 5-4 vote.
The Texas law bans terminations once activity in the embryo’s heart is detected, usually after six weeks.
Health experts say most women do not even know they are pregnant at that stage.
