Another one bites the dust

FANS of Queen who missed out on seeing the sellout tour in 2019, are in luck with a brand new show hitting the region’s stage this month.

And you could say the performance is ‘a kind of magic.’

Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody is celebrating the rock band’s 50th anniversary by bringing a special tribute show to The Empire Theatre. Starring international Freddie Mercury impersonator Thomas Crane as the musical genius himself, the performance will feature the popular rock band’s greatest hits.

Mr Crane said he and his band Bohemian Rhapsody, would bring back the visual, sound and stage energy that fans would have witnessed at a live Queen concert.

“Everything is here, right down to the trademark cheeky banter and singing contests between Freddie and his audience,” Mr Crane said.

“Bohemian Rhapsody manage to take everything that made a Queen show unique, and bring it back to life before your very eyes and ears.”

Music lovers can expect to hear all their favourite songs from the 70s and right through to the 80s.

Queen’s biggest hits will be performed from We Will Rock You, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and We Are The Champions, to Another One Bites the Dust, A Kind of Magic and Bohemian Rhapsody.

The Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody Miracle Tour will play at The Empire Theatre on Sunday, October 24, at 7pm.

Tickets are $70 for adults or $60 for Empire cardholders.

To purchase, phone the ticket office on 1300 655 299 or visit empiretheatre.com.au.
