FEAR NOT, PARK SHOULD BE A REAL SCREAM
AUSTRALIA’s only dedicated scream park will debut on the Gold Coast from Thursday for a limited time.
Fearaphobia Scream Park – at the abandoned NightQuarter site next to Westfield Helensvale – will have seven terror-filled and bloodcurdling scare experiences including The Haunted Hotel and two escape rooms.
Fearaphobia creator Bronson Little said Fearaphobia had been running since 2014 but “unfortunately the last two years were lost to Covid”.
He said this year the family decided to bring the scream park to their own backyard on the Gold Coast.
“The reason we never operated in Queensland to start with was because you have all the big theme parks like Movie World – we went to Sydney because there was a market for it there,” he said. “But when the opportunity came up to use this site in Helensvale we jumped at it.”
It will run nightly from 6pm from October 21 to Halloween night.
