Thunder has depth to strike first blood

Sydney Thunder produced the goods to win the WBBL title last season, and now it wants to show the world that it wasn’t a fluke. Thunder will be without star batter Rachael Haynes, but it still has a quality top order that should pile on the runs. Youngster Phoebe Litchfield is one of the players to watch this season, while the Thunder has also added a couple of Indian stars who impressed during the recent series. It takes on the Strikers in its first game, and Adelaide will be out to spoil the party led by all-rounders Suzie Bates and Tahlia McGrath.
