Teenage stars set to shine
DARLING Downs cricket fans will have plenty of reason to tune in to the Women’s Big Bash League this season.
Three young stars from the region will line up in the national competition which starts this weekend.
Georgia Voll, Ellie Johnston and Ruth Johnston (pictured) will fly the flag for the region when they put on the pads for the seventh season of the WBBL.
The trio is all 18, with Voll making her debut for the Brisbane Heat last season, and the Johnston cousins set to get their first taste of the T20 scene this time around.
