‘Ashamed’ NRL star faces court
RISING NRL star Reece Walsh has said he is “ashamed” after being fined and placed on a good behaviour bond for a wild night out on the Gold Coast.
The New Zealand Warriors young gun appeared at Southport Magistrates Court on Monday where he pleaded guilty to charges of cocaine possession and contravening a police move-on order.
He was fined $400 and placed on a $500 good behaviour bond by Magistrate Ron Kilner. No conviction was recorded.
Walsh was earlier this month fined $5000 by the NRL and handed a two-game ban for the start of next year.
