QUEENSLAND tourism operators have been delivered a million-dollar cash injection in just 24 hours thanks to a new campaign offering $75 flights and up to 50 per cent discounts within the Sunshine State.

The Great Queensland Getaway, run by Tourism and Events Queensland and promoted by News Corp’s Queensland mastheads, launched on Monday.

By Tuesday morning, nearly 5000 tours and experience­s had been booked across the state.

The campaign runs until October 31 or until the sold out.

1. Get $100 off the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Ultimate Dinosaur Family Tour. Normally priced at $200 for two adults and children, now half price.

2. Bite into some big savings and grab a 50% off Cairns Aquarium by Twilight Tour with three-course dinner. Take a guided tour through 10 tropical eco systems then spend your evening at Dundee’s Restaurant. Normally $250, now only $125 for two people.

3. Get two for the price of one at the Australian Outback Spectacula­r – an enthrallin­g live performanc­e and a threecours­e meal for two adults for just $79 (normally $198 for two).
