‘Crowie’ gift card launched

A GIFT card for businesses based solely in Crows Nest will be launched just in time for Christmas.

Progressive Community Crows Nest president Dr Paul O’Brien said the cards would work like any other gift card at participating Crows Nest businesses to ensure money stayed within the community.

“The gift cards can be used more than once, across multiple stores, and would be the perfect gift for those hard to buy for friends and family members,” he said.

“The Crowie Card will only be able to be redeemed in Crows Nest.

“This means that every time a Crowie Card is purchased it will be supporting the Crows Nest community.”

Crowie Cards will be available at any issuing store and be redeemed at any participating store that’s a part of the Crowie Card network.

Values from $1 to $1000 can be loaded on a single card.

Dr O’Brien said the gift card program was supported by grants from Toowoomba Regional Council and Progressive Community Crows Nest.
