NOW in its 19th year, the Hampton Food and Arts Festival is set to ignite your tastebuds next weekend with an array of local product.

Marketing and planning coordinator Wendy Allen said guests would have a chance to sit back and enjoy the food, wine, cocktails and produce available, while musicians entertained the crowd.

“We have a great line up of local music, as we do every year,” she said.

“We have Mick Lindsay as our headline act, and he is a local which is great.

“We also have two other acts throughout the day, the Hobsons and Van Lill.”

With the festival set for Sunday, May 15 at Chapman Park in Hampton, Mrs Allen said guests would be able to find plenty of activities for all ages, from children’s art workshops, demonstrations, and food stalls.

“There’s something for everyone at the festival, no matter your interests,” she said.

“We will have locally grown fruit and vegetable stalls from the North Toowoomba region.

“There will be workshops on French pastry cooking, making baskets out of wild vines, and even learning about distilling.

“There’s a heap for all ages in the children's area too.”
