PUSS PICKS PURRFECT PARTNER

-

THE village cat sounds like the name of a sweet book set in a quaint English town.

In fact, it is, what the residents of Bolton Clarke’s Westhaven Retirement Community in Toowoomba call, the sleek, black feline which has made their village its home.

For one particular resident, Cyndy Press, that black cat, or Bubba as Cyndy has named her, has wandered, not only into her house but her heart, becoming a best friend and lifelong companion.

Bubba has helped Cyndy connect with other village residents and brought a wonderful feeling of companionship to her home.

It has even been keeping a watchful eye on Cyndy after she suffered a stroke – staying with her and following her everywhere.

That little black, village cat knows when it’s on a good thing and is not going to let Cyndy out of its sight – it’s the purrfect partnership.
