ESCAPED PRISONER ON RUN

AN INMATE has now been on the run for two days after a suspected escape from a correctional centre in southern NSW.

Authorities are on the lookout for 33-year-old Marc Allen, who was reported missing from a Tumbarumba minimum-security correctional centre in the Riverina on Friday afternoon.

He was last sighted at the facility about 2.45pm.

Riverina Police have been trying to track him down and are now appealing to the public for any information.

Allen is described as being caucasian, about 170cm to 180cm tall, with a thin build and tattoos of hands on his neck.

He was last seen wearing green trackpants, a T-shirt, green jacket and black joggers.

Police advised the public not to approach Allen but instead contact 000.
