KIDS SHOWER MOTHERS WITH LOVE

- JESSICA PAUL

AS CHILDREN of all ages across the Rose City were preparing to spoil their mums on Mother’s Day, the class at St Mary’s Kindergarten took a special approach to this year’s celebration.

The Warwick youngsters were joined by their mothers, grandmothers and any other important women in their lives at the centre’s Mother’s Day activity morning on Thursday, sharing their favourite arts and crafts and play activities to mark the occasion.

Teaching director Marie Sullivan said the Mother’s Day event was a regular part of the centre’s calendar, with special celebrations already lined up for Father’s Day and other important dates.

“We really want to bring that community feel to the centre and always try to bring everyone together for days like this,” she said.

It was also an opportunity for a group of Warwick’s smallest residents to share what they love most about their mums and how they planned to spoil them on Mother’s Day.
