Fuel prices

THE government’s move to half the excise on fuel prices is a joke. Who authorises the petrol stations to fluctuate prices? On April 28, I paid $1.86 for 95 octane. On May 3 I paid $2.08.9, so what happened? Obviously the service stations please themselves. It’s sheer blackmail. WILLIAM MEADOWCROFT, Toowoomba
