• Why oh why don’t drivers know to turn on car headlights in this rain and fog. Black, white and grey cars against the dark grey road are almost impossible to see. And parking lights are useless until you’re a metre from crashing. Isn’t it illegal not to turn lights on bad weather?

• It was great when Grantham homes were moved to new estate up the hill after 2011 floods. But they still get flooded in with water under railway bridge. Why can’t a large channel be dozed during dry weather to allow waters to move away quickly? I have a relative living there who gets cut off often. Bob, Toowoomba
