SPEARS LOSES UNBORN BUB

LOS ANGELES: Singer Britney Spears has suffered a devastating miscarriage.

The pop superstar revealed her tragic news in a joint statement with fiance Sam Ashgari.

The 40-year-old mother of two teenage sons had announced she was expecting her third child last month.

“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy,”

Spears’ statement read.

“This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along. However we were overly excited to share the good news.”

Spears and Ashgari added their love for each other was their “strength” right now.

“We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support.”
