Mining industry

AUSTRALIA’S mining industry needs to evolve as more demand is placed on it in the future.

The mining of coal for burning in power plants will eventually go the way of the dodo and be replaced with new mineral mining for photovoltaic solar energy, and the elements needed for electric battery storage.

I can still see a significant future demand for mining engineers, it’s just that the types of minerals being extracted and processed will be much different to what they have been in the past.
