Man charged after attack on teen with a pitchfork

A WESTERN Queensland man has been charged by detectives with grievous bodily harm after he was involved in an incident that left a 19-yearold with stab wounds from a pitchfork.

The incident occurred following a disturbance at a Wicks Street home in Cunnamulla on Saturday morning.

Police will allege the 29year-old man and the teenager got into a verbal argument, before the latter was tabbed in the arm.

The teen was taken to Cunnamulla Hospital before being transferred to a Brisbane hospital for treatment and surgery.

The man will appear in the Charleville Magistrates Court on Monday.
