AUSTRALIA’S BEST BEEF STILL FROM DOWNS

THE Darling Downs’ own Stockyard Beef is celebrating a sixth consecutive year of being awarded Grand Champion Branded Beef of Show at the Royal Queensland Awards.

Earning the title of Australia’s best steak is not an easy feat, with 42 entries and a panel of 10 expert judges to impress, and Stockyard takes advantage of the exceptional Darling Downs natural environment to raise the tastiest beef.

Stockyard executive director David Clark said the awards acknowledged the work that goes into producing some of the world’s best beef.

“Six in a row shows not only can we produce high quality beef, but we can do it consistently,” Mr Clark said.

“This is recognition of our team’s effort from breeding and backgrounding through feedlotting and processing.

“Our customers can be safe in the knowledge that we serve some of the finest beef in the world.”

Chief judge Elaine Millar said entires were outstanding.
