LINKTREE Free, iOS/Android

The Aussie company helping social media users share their greatest hits in a single link is taking their offer to the next level. Linktree, which dominates the “link in bio” space, has just launched an app where users can edit their websites, change the appearance of their bios, and see how many people have clicked to check it out. The app also features premium subscription tiers for those who want more analytics or personalisation.

FOOTY SKILLS LAB Free, footyskillslab.withgoogle.com

This Google collaboration with the AFL, AFLW and Wheelchair League is designed to help any smartphone user learn footy skills. The mobile website features demonstrations from professional players as they teach everything from figure eights to chest marks. Users can choose their own accessibility options, from captions to slower demos and wheelchair mode, and ask the AI to track and rate their moves.

SUBWAY SURFERS TAG $7.99/m, Apple Arcade

Don’t try the actions of this app at home, kids. New-release Apple Arcade game Subway Surfers Tag asks players to grind and jump their skateboards around abandoned locations, railyards and playgrounds, evading a security guard and his robot workers, and spraying graffiti on as many surfaces as possible to level up. The inventive game features an impressive array of urban maps and plenty of ways to cause havoc.

MYS TYLER Free, iOS/Android

Mys Tyler (which sounds suspiciously like My

Styler) takes a different approach to women’s fashion. Rather than show sales or brands up front, the app first asks users questions about their height, clothing size, skin and hair colour, and how they’d describe their body. It then suggests profiles from similarly shaped women users can follow for style inspiration. Items shown within the app can be purchased and users can contribute too.

FITNESS+ $14.99/m, Apple iOS

Apple’s virtual city runs have finally made it as far as Australia. The latest Time to Run instalment in the Apple Watch app sees coach Scott Carvin take a jog through Sydney, past The Rocks, the Opera House, and through the Botanical Gardens. The 33-minute run also features a distinctly Aussie soundtrack, from Dance Monkey by Tones & I to Down Under by Luude.
