INDOOR BOWLS ST MARY’S

Social bowls are held every Thursday afternoon in the Indoor Bowls Hall starrting at midday. Anyone is welcome to come along and have a bowl. Cost is only $4.00 which includes a cuppa after the bowls.

MAY 19th : St Mary’s had two teams participating in Friday night’s competition at T.I.B.A., with no success. Players, mark it on your calendar for our friendship lunch at the Hockey Club on the 6th June at 12 o’clock.

Firstly I must congratulate the winners, runner ups etc that have won on their night while I have been absent. Unfortunately I missed playing/ watching the Qld titles that were played in the Toowoomba Indoor bowls hall on the last weekend of April/1st May. Congratulations to all the winners there too, commiserations to those who lost. There’s always next year to try again. I dont have the winners or scores for Friday 19th May but hope to catch up when my contacts are answering their phones again. The host club for Friday 26th May is the Westbrook club. Don’t forget our five game day coming up on Sunday 25th June. Get together a team of four players and come and join us at the Toowoomba Indoor bowls hall for a day of good sport and fellowship.
