CABARLAH WOMEN

The Cabarlah Ladies Championsh­ips have just been completed. We would like to thank Toby and everyone that assisted on the clean-up day as the course looked absolutely magnificen­t. The weather did play havoc with the event and the first day which was to be Tuesday 16th was washed out. We then decided to change the event to two days of 27 holes for the A & B graders and 2 x 18 for the C graders.

The daily trophies were provided by Sue Hayes and Meg Chadwick respective­ly for the best Net on the initial 18 holes. While the weather is cold outdoors, it's a good chance to come indoors and have a game of Indoor Bowls.

St Mary’s Club has social bowls every Thursday afternoon commencing at 12 o’clock in the Indoor Bowls Hall.

On Saturday June 10 at 10am a Special General Meeting of the DDBA and DDLBA Delegates is called to discuss the new Constituti­on and the way forward within the District.
