A RESTORED tractor has been destroyed in a fire which broke out in a farming shed yesterday.

An electrical fault is believed to have sparked the blaze which destroyed the Massey Ferguson tractor and caused some damage to an open shed at a Canningvale Rd property at Warwick.

Two Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews from Warwick were called to the property just before 7am after the property owner and a neighbour failed to extinguish the fire.

Warwick Station Officer Dennis Burton said smoke was billowing from the shed when crews arrived, and credited the swift actions of the property owner and the neighbour for helping to contain the fire.

The initial damage bill is estimated about $10,000.
