Fly to Beef Australia expo from Wellcamp Airport

FOOD Leaders Australia has announced a special flight for Toowoomba residents to attend one of the world’s premier beef cattle events, Beef Australia.

Held at Rockhampto­n on Wednesday, May 9 it is a world class beef expo, held every three years.

It is now within an hour’s reach from Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport, with the flight departing at 7am and returning at 8.10pm.

This private flight will allow visitors more than 10 hours to take in the sights and sounds of Beef Australia, which facilitate­s new trade and export opportunit­ies by exposing the local supply chain to internatio­nal industry leaders, as well as featuring more than 4500 cattle from over 30 breeds.

FLA general manager Bruce McConnel said Beef Australia was the largest beef industry networking event in Australia.

“This flight gives local businesses the perfect opportunit­y to be involved, grow their networks and learn of current and future trends within the industry,” he said.

“Myself, and FLA staff, will be available prior to the event and on the day to assist participan­ts in making the most of the event.”

Tickets for this flight are strictly limited and are available to members of the public for $1300 per person, with members tickets set at $1200 per person.
