Lending a helping hand

PITTSWORTH: Pittsworth automotive business Lindenberg & Co have lent a helping hand to LifeFlight, supplying the Toowoomba RACQ LifeFlight Rescue base with a new helicopter-lifter engine at a significantly discounted price.

The new and improved engine will allow aircraft to be moved easier around LifeFlight’s temporary base at the Toowoomba Aerodrome.

The distance required to move aircraft down the taxiway, combined with a gentle rise in the concrete had caused the heli-lifter to break down multiple times.

“When LifeFlight approached us in need of the new Honda engine we were only too happy to help out as we appreciate the service LifeFlight delivers, and we both serve the same community,” Lindenberg & Co sales manager Mark Lindenberg said
