Bushfire still burns

SEVERAL Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews will continue monitoring a large vegetation fire burning at Karara this weekend.

The fire, near Strathyre Rd and Nyora Rd, has moved from the Stonehenge area and is in inaccessible land.

It was posing no threat to property yesterday, but residents in the area are urged to be vigilant and take precautions. Smoke may affect areas south of Millmerran and surrounds, and residents with respiratory conditions are urged to keep medication close by.
