Paying kindness forward helps PEACE

-

THE first fund raising event of newly formed Touch of Kindness group proved very successful.

Emily O’Sullivan formed Touch of Kindness as a way to give back to the community who supported her family after her young son was injured in a playground accident some five years ago.

The group’s first fundraiser was a Women’s Wellness Day Path to Inner Peace held at Cooby Dam.

The venture raised $3400 which was donated to the PEACE Group.

PEACE is a volunteer-based group which develops, co-ordinates and conducts services that provide care and support, health and wellbeing while meeting the needs of at-risk individuals in the Toowoomba region.
