Princess ditches the pumps

PRINCESS MARY is clearly on board with this year’s sneaker trend. Or favours comfort over fashion. During a visit to Rome this week with husband the CROWN PRINCE FREDERIK, Mary wore a bespoke dress by a Danish designer. She wore nude stilettos at the presidential palace, but changed into some more casual footwear for a walk around Roman ruins – a pair of white Nike sneakers. She happily posed for photos in her runners and dress combo.
