1. EMU GULLY SPEC­TAC­U­LAR

When: To­day, from 10am to 4pm

Where: Emu Gully Ad­ven­ture Ed­u­ca­tion Group

The Emu Gully Ad­ven­ture Ed­u­ca­tion Group will dis­play the AN­ZAC val­ues of courage, mateship, per­se­ver­ance and sac­ri­fice at the Emu Gully Spec­tac­u­lar.

Ac­tiv­i­ties on the day will in­clude model plane and light horse demon­stra­tions, skill at arms com­pe­ti­tion, WWI plane take off and more.

2. TUFF BULLBARS OPEN DAY

When: To­day, from 9am to 2pm

Where: TUFF HQ Toowoomba, 10 Car­ing­ton Rd

TUFF Bullbars Toowoomba in­vites ev­ery­one to come along to cel­e­brate its in­au­gu­ral open day.

A fun filled day has been or­gan­ised which in­cludes ac­tiv­i­ties for chil­dren, live en­ter­tain­ment, spe­cial­ist talks and more.

En­try to the event is free.

3. WEINERSTOCK

When: To­day from 9.30am to 2.30pm

Where: Queens Park, Toowoomba All dachshunds and own­ers in Toowoomba are in­vited to come along to Weinerstock.

Funds raised from the cel­e­bra­tions will go to­wards Sto­ry­book Farm An­i­mal Sanc­tu­ary.

Mar­ket stalls, a dachs­hund ninja war­rior course, best dressed com­pe­ti­tion, pa­rade and more will be avail­able.

Feel free to wear bright or flo­ral cloth­ing to fit the 1960s theme.

4. STAMP CLUB MEET­ING

When: To­day from 1pm Where: St Stephen’s Church Hall, An­nand St

Stamp col­lec­tors have an op­por­tu­nity to find some ad­di­tions to their col­lec­tion at the Toowoomba Stamp Club meet­ing.

Deal­ers will be present and a bar­gain ta­ble with some keenly priced items and stamps for sale from lo­cal and vis­it­ing clubs.

Fol­low­ing af­ter­noon tea, the club’s monthly auc­tion will be held.

Vis­i­tors are al­ways wel­come and there is plenty of park­ing nearby.

5. MA MA CREEK COM­MU­NITY CEN­TRE CEL­E­BRA­TIONS

When: To­mor­row, from 10.30am and 1pm

Where: Ma Ma Creek Com­mu­nity Cen­tre, Ma Ma Creek

The Ma Ma Creek Com­mu­nity Cen­tre will hold a Re­mem­brance Day Ser­vice from 10.30am.

In the af­ter­noon, all present and past res­i­dents are in­vited to at­tend to meet new friends or catch up with old ones from 1pm.

A spe­cial in­vi­ta­tion is ex­tended to any new res­i­dents who would like to meet com­mu­nity group.

Guest are asked to bring a plate to the af­ter­noon tea to share.

6. HAND­MADE EXPO

When: To­mor­row, from 9am Where: Har­ris­town State High School

COME along to Har­ris­town State High School to check out the creations from about 70 stall­hold­ers at the mar­kets.

All items for sale will be ei­ther hand­made, baked or grown by the peo­ple sell­ing, with a few qual­ity craft­ing sup­plies as well for peo­ple to cre­ate their own.

En­try and park­ing are free for the mar­kets.

7. THE KRYP­TONITE CHAL­LENGE

When: To­day and to­mor­row from 8am to 5pm

Where: Toowoomba Show­grounds The Kryp­tonite Chal­lenge will put com­peti­tors to the test with its gru­elling mud-laced ob­sta­cle course.

There will be more than 50 crazy chal­lenges and ob­sta­cles to at­tempt in ei­ther the 7km or 12km course.

Park­ing and en­try is free for spec­ta­tors.

Food and drink will be avail­able while you watch teams at­tempt the course.

8. GOWRIE LIT­TLE PLAIN HALL CON­CERT

When: Tonight, from 7pm Where: Gowrie Lit­tle Plain Hall Coun­try mu­si­cians Rod Wil­liams and Adrian Cann will grace the Gowrie Lit­tle Plain Hall with tra­di­tional bush bal­lads. Wil­liams will give each per­son who at­tends a free vinyl LP.

En­try is $20 at the door which in­cludes sup­per and lucky door ticket.

9. CENT SALE

When: To­day, from noon

Where: Rose Cot­tage Hall, New­town Park

The Toowoomba Flo­ral Art Group in­vites ev­ery­one to come along to its cent sale at the Rose Cot­tage Hall.

Af­ter­noon tea will be pro­vided as well as a lucky door prize.

The sale will of­fer plenty of ideas for those look­ing for Christ­mas gift ideas.

En­try is $10.

10. SEN­SORY MOVIE

When: To­mor­row, from 10.30am Where: Event Cin­ema, Grand Cen­tral Event Cin­e­mas will screen Charm­ing at the Grand Cen­tral Lo­ca­tion as the first screen­ing to be sched­uled for its Sen­sory Movie Days.

The day is an in­clu­sive event for fam­i­lies with spe­cial needs to be able to en­joy the cin­ema.

The cin­ema lights are dimmed and the movie vol­ume is low­ered for sen­si­tive ears

Tick­ets can be pur­chased on the day and cost $6.
