TOMORROW Toowoomba residents will commemorat­e the centenary of the Armistice – the moment the guns finally fell silent, bringing an end to the First World War.

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, Australian­s will pause to remember the lives lost during this and the other conflicts of the past century.

In and around Toowoomba there are a number of locations residents can pause to reflect with six Remembranc­e Day Services tomorrow.
