Dairy producer takes next step

GOONDIWINDI: Local dairy producer Barambah Organics has been named as one of the finalists in the 2019 Australian Grand Dairy Awards.

The awards began in 1999 to recognise innovation in Australian dairy produce.

Goondiwindi Regional Council Mayor Cr Graeme Scheu congratulated the producer for its success.

Cr Scheu said he was proud of the outstanding producer’s achievement.

“Our agricultural excellence is the real backbone to our community and it’s great to see that recognised,” he said.

“Achievements like this are part of our region’s success story.”

Barambah Organics co-director Jane Campbell said the news was a boost to the team’s morale.

“The health and wellbeing of the herd is the team’s priority,” she said.
