Carols herald the Christmas season
THE 16th annual Toowoomba Hospice Christmas carols ushered in the Christmas season with the help of the city’s families.
About 250 people turned up to take part in the festivities.
The Toowoomba Municipal Band and High Altitude Harmony led the audience in the carols.
Toowoomba Hospice administration and fundraising manager Mark Munro said the carols were a fabulous evening for everyone.
“The carols started off as a small thing for the families of the hospice’s clients,” Mr Munro said.
“The event has grown considerably since it started 16 years ago.”
Visiting children also enjoyed a special visit from Santa.
