Campbell Street beauty sold under the hammer

-

A CLASSIC East Toowoomba property and spirited bidding created smiles all round last weekend as 104 Campbell Street sold at auction.

LJ Hooker’s head of operations Jeremy Lewis said the strong appeal of the home, coupled with potential for future development, brought a sizeable crowd and six registered bidders eager to secure the property – which ultimately sold over the reserve.

"This house has been in the same family for over 50 years and presented wonderfully with its original, ornate finishes throughout," Mr Lewis said. "And with its unique positioning and unlimited opportunity on the 1740sqm allotment (with three-street access) it was always going to generate plenty of interest.

"Given its size, there’s the opportunity to split the block and build multiple homes which is a very attractive option in this sought-after part of Toowoomba."
